Nina and Kim’s love story began in an unexpected corner of their lives. As a working student hustling at Convergys in San Lazaro, Nina was simply trying to find the nearest school to balance her work and studies. Kim, a diligent fourth-year college student, was running errands for the Dean to earn a little extra cash before the new school year. Their worlds collided in that fleeting moment when their eyes met, setting the stage for a story neither of them could have predicted.

From that magical first glance, a friendship blossomed, and a few months later, Kim took a leap of faith. On a spontaneous trip to Tagaytay with Kim’s best friends, he confessed his feelings to Nina. Juggling the responsibilities of being a single mom, Nina was touched but had many decisions to make. Their journey together wasn’t without its hurdles, but their connection grew stronger with each passing day.

As Kim graduated, life threw them a curveball. Nina, her sister, and their closest friends, LJ and Nikki, decided to rent an apartment together. Kim moved in with them, and they faced the realities of adulthood head-on. Balancing Nina’s role as a working single-mother and Kim’s new professional path, they navigated the challenges of life with resilience and unwavering support for one another.

Their hard work and dedication paid off, and by the grace of God and the support of their loved ones, they celebrated major milestones: purchasing their first home at 25 and a car by 28. In July 2023, Kim made the sweetest gesture of all—he proposed, marking the beginning of the next chapter in their fairytale.
